It's been a while....

Moira had her eight month weight-check and immunization yesterday, which, of course wasn't fun at all. She has grown, she is now 16 lbs 2 oz, but she is still 27" tall. So, in the last two months she has gained a pound, not half bad. She has gone down percentage wise quite a bit in both height and weight, but she is still higher on the charts then she was at birth, so that is good. We have added a few new foods in the past 1-1/2 weeks, she has had carrots, egg yolks, and apple pieces, she had only tried applesauce before, she really likes to chew apple bits! She loved smoothing the egg yolks with her hands before shoving them in her mouth, such a proper little lady! Moira also popped two teeth! Her top right tooth on the 23rd and bottom left on the 1st of August. What a big girl! Her crawl is getting too fast for me, today she pulled the box fan in our living room over by pulling on the cord, good thing she didn't get hurt! She is babbling more than ever lately, her favorite sound sounds like a low growl, but she also likes to say ahhh-ahhh-ahhh-ahhh, which is backwards, because most kids would be saying consonant- vowel combos, just more proof that she is my daughter, and Kieran's sister I guess! Yesterday, right after her three shots, she was screaming, I was holding her, and the nurse said "I am sooooo sorry sweetheart", and Moira gave her a huge grin through her pacifier and her tears, she is so smart and sweet, what other baby would do that?!
